On this project ALL PRO USA made our way to Clarion in Clarion County, Pennsylvania. The project that they had acquired was one for PA American Water. We were asked to document road surfaces along the route of the project for Mealy. The purpose of the documentation was to record the road surfaces, residences, manhole covers and storm drains along the projects path. This project required pre construction video and pre construction photography.

For this project we sent a two person team to the job site. Each member of the team had the appropriate high vis vest and hat for the job site. The team utilized state of the art video cameras, the Cannon MK IV still camera and our RAM 1500 truck to document the project. Although they were not needed we did have our hardhats in the truck should they become necessary.

Each of the members of the team had a specific job. One of the team members was in charge of operating the vehicle and paying attention to the surroundings as they moved through the job sites. The other member of the team acted as the camera operator. They were in charge of making sure that the shot was framed properly and that the documentation was exactly what the contractor needed. This is done using controls inside the truck that give them full control over the pan, tilt and zoom of the camera. They also have a monitor inside the truck that has a feed to the camera to ensure that the shots are framed properly and everything that needs to be seen is seen. 
Once the field work is complete the team returns to the studio and begins the post production work on the project. The clips are edited and organized to make them easily reviewable by the contractor. The clips are then named by street and labeled with distinct start and stop points so that the contractor knows exactly where the documentation is taking place. Once this is complete they are copied to two hard drives and uploaded online to a viewing gallery. The contractor then receives both of the hard drives and a link to the online gallery. The gallery is viewable on smart phones, tablets and computers. This makes reviewing the clips easily accessible so they can be viewed whenever and wherever they need to be.
