On 09-02-25, Pre Construction Videographer ALL PRO USA was assigned with the 4K Pre Construction Video documentation of a Municipal Waterline Project in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania, Jefferson County. Yes, THAT Punxsutawney. The video features a comprehensive look at road surfaces, sidewalks, curbs, driveways, retaining walls and all homeowner property along the project route.

The documentation was completed on foot, with the aid of a motorized camera gimbal for added stability. Sometimes, when covering a wider project route or major road way, we will obtain video with the aid of rotating camera system, mounted to a construction marked vehicle. Because this project required very close detailed documentation of a narrower residential street, a handheld camera setup was the most effective option for completing the survey.

Our construction vehicle, as stated, is marked for safety and includes lights and strobes for extra visibility. Even when documenting on foot, we prioritize safety. Our crewmembers wear reflective vests and take extra care to protect private and public property. Additionally, each team member is OSHA-10 certified. One of our most important considerations before undertaking a job is the weather. We prefer cloud free skies and low to no precipitation to ensure that our Post or pre construction videography is as clear and accurate as possible. On this particular Video Project, we consulted Punxsutawney Phil about the day’s expected weather. On a serious note, we like to contact the project manager to double check that all relevant video on the pathway is properly visualized. Once we return to our editing studio, we complete the project by checking the project info for accuracy of date recorded, direction of travel, geographic location and other invaluable data. After completion, the project coordinator receives both a digital and hard copy, via USB drive, of the finished product.
