The showcase includes video of manhole interiors, roadways (both paved and unpaved), the entrance gate, parking lot, exterior electrical systems and lighting, holding tanks, stairways, catwalks, water basins, lightings ballasts, fans and more. There’s also a comprehensive overview of the plumbing, water treatment and mechanical systems including the fluoride feeds, turbidity meter and valves, high service pumps, filters including influent valves, filter control panels, master panels, fan controls, backwash pumps, Clearwell tanks, raw water pumps and drains.

Additionally, we surveyed the main building of the water treatment plant itself. Analyzing the construction materials including the blockwork, foundation, windows, drainage systems, doorways, walkways, curbs and external ventilation.

This job was completed by a two-person recording crew for accuracy. Most of the video was obtained by pre construction videographers, on foot, aided by motorized camera gimbals. Video obtained on roadways was recorded with the aid of a construction-marked vehicle, equipped with an exterior camera and an internal camera monitoring system. Our vehicle is fully-equipped with safety lights and strobes, for maximum visibility. In this particular camera setup, one member of the crew is tasked with the operation of the vehicle while the other monitors the camera and systems.

Once we return to our editing studio, we complete the project by checking the project info for accuracy of date recorded, direction of travel, geographic location and other invaluable data. After completion, the project coordinator receives both a digital and hard copy, via USB drive, of the finished product.
