The video featured above is a project overview or compilation of Pre Construction Videos in Exter, PA, Luzerne County (just south of Scranton and Wilkes-Barre) for a sanitary and storm sewer rehabilitation project. It is a 4K documentation of road surfaces, curbs, sidewalks, commercial and homeowner property and visible utilities. It was recorded on 08-08-25 by a Pre Construction videographer or videographers for construction utility video company ALL PRO USA.

This particular job was completed with the aid of a three-person crew. One crewmember was charged with piloting the construction-marked vehicle (fully equipped with safety lights and strobes), while another was tasked with the operation of an externally-mounted camera, as well as the interior camera monitor and systems. This setup allowed us to capture accurate ground level documentation of the specified survey area and all special details within the project pathway.

Our pre construction videography is extremely thorough, capturing both the left and right shoulders of the roadway in successive passes, as well as the roadway itself, signs of municipal infrastructure (manhole covers and drainage systems), crossways and intersections and personal and commercial property lines and structures. Plus, it’s supplemented with in-camera audio narration for further clarification. We use a high-end microphone system as well as top of the line cameras to provide the clearest documentation of the project pathway.

Furthermore, it was a benefit for this project to have a Pre Construction videographer on foot, assisted by a motorized gimbal to capture even clearer and more-detailed footage of specific points of interest along the project pathway. He too was equipped with a high-end microphone for narration. As you’ll hear in the video, our videographers make sure to clearly verbalize noticeable material defects and damage (natural and otherwise).

In the lead up to a job, we like to keep an eye on the weather to make sure our video survey is as accurate as possible. We want clear skies and low to no precipitation to ensure that our pre construction videographystands above the competition. On the day of, we like to contact the project manager to double check that all relevant footage on the pathway is visualized accurately. Once we return to our editing studio, we complete the project by checking the project info for accuracy of date recorded, direction of travel, geographic location and other invaluable data. After completion, the project coordinator receives both a digital and hard copy, via USB drive, of the finished product.
