Dover, Strafford County, New Hampshire, Pre Construction Video and Photo Documentation

Video and Photo Documentation of Existing Conditions
Pre Construction Video and Photography
January 2023

All Pro USA traveled to Dover, New Hampshire for the second contract of 2023 for this contractor. The contractor had asked the team to go in and document the area around a new project that they had acquired. It has been a busy start to the end of 2022 and the start of 2023, but All Pro has ensured that each project gets the attention needed to ensure the contractor gets all the details that they need from the documentation. Projects have ranged from local jobs in PA to traveling to Maryland and up into Connecticut. This is another project where the contractor would be working on the water systems for the city of Dover. The contractor was interested in seeing the pre existing conditions of road surfaces, sidewalks, man hole covers, curbs, culverts and whatever else the team saw while they were on location. This project required the our pre construction video services Haul Routes.

The team on the ground was equip with several techniques to ensure the contractor got the documentation that they needed before they started work on the project. This is included handheld camera solutions, a vehicle option and out drone for aerial video if the project should require it. This project had sections that utilized all of the methods that we here at All Pro USA utilize. The first thing the team did was mount our camera and got to work on a large part of the documentation which was a few roads around the project site the the contractor would be using as Haul Routes to complete their work. Safety is always on the mind of the team while they are in the field this includes not only wearing Hi Vis clothing and the proper PPE, but safe work habits to ensure team members are unharmed while on site. The truck is operated by a two person team. One of the team members focuses on the safe operation of the vehicle and the other operates the camera with controls from inside of the vehicle. This allows the team to ensure they are getting the shot that the contractor needs. Once the driving portion of the documentation was completed the team took to the ground to get the shots of areas that the vehicle could not get to. The last method that was used on this project was aerial photography and video utilizing out drone to capture the final shots needed to complete the job. All Pro USA is a FAA Part 107 licensed company. This means that employees have passed their exams and have been granted permission by the FAA for commercial drone use.

Once the documentation was completed the team notified the contractor and then made their way back to the studio to begin the editing process. This is usually broken into a few parts. The first thing that is done is backing up of all files that were captured at the site. Clips and files are backed up onto to external hard drives for safe keeping at the studio. These are held onto in case All Pro USA or the contractor would ever need them in the future. There are special cases where all files are deleted if asked for by the contractor due to the sensitive nature of the project site. Videos are edited to remove unnecessary sections that the contractor would not need. Titles and relevant information are then overlaid on the videos to make it easy for the contractor or whoever is viewing the file to know what they are looking at. This is also done for all photos that are taken at the site. Once the photos and videos are finalized they are uploaded to Smug Mug and a Vimeo Showcase respectively. These are online viewing platforms that allow the contractor to easily view or share the media. The contractor then also receives two physical USB drives that they can hold onto for their own personal records. These can be copied and shared as needed by the contractor.
